Fantastic Results with Urolift for BPH

Dr. Elterman,

Fantastic results. I want to thank you and your staff for all the care and assistance provided me throughout the procedure and thereafter. I had been with a catheter for three (3) months following knee replacement surgery on account of prostate difficulty. I conducted research and determined if I was a candidate, the Urolift procedure was best suited for me. In this manner, I could avoid the effects of after surgery — lots of pain, long recovery, lack of energy, etc.. As well, I could avoid any possibility of incontinence and loss of sex ability, both of which are real possibilities with the most common procedure, the TURP. Having just come off knee surgery, I was quite aware of these difficulties. With the urolift I avoided all of the above. The procedure was conducted on a Thursday afternoon. I was back at home a couple of hours later that evening, and was back at work the Monday immediate following.

I would recommend the urolift procedure for any male who meets the qualifications for the procedure. I went from fearing at least a two (2) week to three (3) month recovery period for surgery to a three (3) to four (4) day recovery period. My prostate problems are a thing of the past. Again, thank you. I will be glad to speak to any of your patients who are considering this procedure if they so choose.

Regards,

Michael
